A qualification that leads to work and continuing
education
The Diploma in Science is a new qualification designed to
give students valuable skills for a future career in science and
related areas and continuing education. This qualification will
involve classroom learning and practical experience which is fun,
exciting and teaches skills your child will need in the
future.
This qualification is being developed in
collaboration with schools, colleges, universities and
employers. It will become one of three main choices in
education – alongside GCSEs and A levels.
The Foundation and Higher levels are due to
launch in September 2011 and the Advanced level in September
2012.
